Chi CC, Kirtschig G, Baldo M et al.
Editor's note: This article is a Cochrane summary of topical treatments for genital lichen sclerosus. Lichen sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis that mainly occurs in the anogenital region and causes itching and pain. Post-inflammatory scarring may cause significant architectural change and resultant dyspareunia and sexual dysfunction in women, and phimosis and painful erections in men.
