Nutritional Management for Multiple Pregnancies: A Review

Although the optimal maternal nutrition and weight gain patterns for singleton pregnancies are well documented, there is a lack of information for multiple pregnancies. Even though it is assumed that optimum nutritional requirements and weight gains would be greater for multiple than for singleton gestations, research is needed as there are no specific recommendations in these types of pregnancies.
