Daytime alertness in Parkinson's disease: potentially dose-dependent, divergent effects by drug class.

Bliwise DL, Trotti LM, Wilson AG et al.
Editor's note: Patients who are affected by Parkinson’s disease (PD) often complain of daytime somnolence, and this phenomenon has been well documented by subjective and objective measures.
In the current article, Bliwise and colleagues examined the ability of patients with PD to remain awake, in a laboratory setting, during the daytime using the Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT).
